Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh Inaugurates ‘Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Library’ and Marshall International School Bazaar

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal
Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital (TAG.GD), inaugurated the bazaar of the
International Day of Persons with Disabilities, organized by Marshall
International School in Amman, held on the occasion of the International Day of
Persons with Disabilities.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh also opened the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Library
established at the School’s campus, in the presence of the School’s General
Manager, Mr. Salah Hijazi, and the Kuwaiti Ambassador’s Representative in Amman,
Counselor Nasser Al-Mutairi,
In his opening speech, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his pride and
appreciation in taking part in the event, emphasizing the importance of initiatives
that sharpen individuals’ capacities and empower them to benefit from the
technological tools available by today’s knowledge revolution.
He went on to affirm that the technology will entirely transform
every dimension of human life, including life expectancy and global warfare,
noting that the Third World War, which has already erupted, is a tech war
rather than a traditional military confrontation between armies.
Addressing the students attending the event, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh
delivered several key messages, emphasizing the importance of lifelong learning
and maintaining a genuine passion for knowledge and education. He pointed out
that countries such as China have become the world’s leading superpower due to
their superiority in innovation and inventions.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh further noted that wealth is generated through
knowledge and innovation, underscoring the importance of teaching programming
in schools. He also expressed his hope to establish a school specialized in
teaching programming.
For his part, Mr. Hijazi expressed his pride in hosting Dr.
Abu-Ghazaleh, describing him as one of the most distinguished figures and a unique
role model in the fields of education and economics. He also extended his warm welcome
to the Kuwaiti Counselor Mr. Nasser Al-Mutairi, and Ms. Ghada Al-Azzeh.
Mr. Hijazi pointed out that the event is one of numerous
initiatives the School continues to launch with the aim to support, empower,
and graduate individuals who become more self-dependent. He urged everyone to support
and empower persons with disabilities.
Ms. Al-Azzeh shared her personal experience and perspective concerning
the tools for empowering persons with disabilities, affirming the importance of
embracing and supporting them, as well as exerting efforts to integrate them
into society; an obligation and responsibility families, communities, and
country should carry out.
